THE POWER OF THE WORD OF GOD

WE NEED THE SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT OF THE WORD

Deuteronomy 8:3     Man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.

Colossians 3:16       Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. (KJV)

James 1:21      Put away all filthiness and rampant wickedness and receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

Note: “Implanted” means “inserted, incorporated into, instilled, put in gradually” (as in putting ideas into the mind).

2 Peter 1:4            He has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire. Note: “Precious” means valuable. “Partakers” means sharers.

John 6:63 (Jesus said)  It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (KJV)
